Certify Fiber Optic Installations - The Mini-OTDR is a full-function Certifying OTDR when used with Certification Software. View and store traces in the field, then download traces to a PC for further analysis and printing of the certifying documents. ACE approved version is available.
Test Fiber to the Home - The tri-wavelength model, which can test at 1490nm, can be used for testing Fiber to the Home. Use with 1 X 4 and 1 X 8 couplers.
Optimize Quick-Termination Connectors - Attach the connector to a launch cable via a mating sleeve, then press the Scan button on the OTDR. Slowly insert the fiber into the connector. The scan of the field fiber will rise up the screen as the optical connection improves. The OTDR's 2-point loss feature shows the throughput of the connector.
